Each other

Tonight in class someone made a very common error:
  • We checked our presentations each other.
"Each other" is a reciprocal pronoun, so it takes the place of the pronoun "our" and comes before the direct object (目的語). So this is correct:
  • We checked each other's presentations.
If there is no other pronoun (like "our"), then it can come at the end:
  • Emi and Ken are Japanese but speak English with each other.
If you have a group, you need to use "one another", so this means there were 3+ people:
  • We practiced speaking English with one another.
Please use English well!
