MEGAFEPS 動名詞

MEGAFEPS is a useful mnemonic device from a student. Last night, someone said:
  • We enjoyed to see a dolphin show.
It's wrong because you have to use 動名詞 after "enjoy." So it should be: We enjoyed seeing a dolphin show.

I hear this all the time, but never knew the complete list of verbs which can only be followed by 動名詞. They are:
  • to Mind
  • to Escape
  • to Give up
  • to Avoid
  • to Finish
  • to Enjoy
  • to Put off, Postpone, & Practice
  • to Stop & Suggest.
Here's a Japanese explanation.

Edit: A student just e-mailed me another one:

  • to Deny
So I guess this give us: MEGAFEPSD!

Please use English well!
